The Fox Holiday Classic wrapped up our year with a fantastic weekend in Indiana. Our swimmers dove in with energy and determination, putting together strong performances and earning spots at finals. This was our first year attending the COHO Arena Winter Classic and our swimmers did a phenomenal job! Delta swimmers put together some amazing swims, earning numerous best times, championship cuts and earned their second swims at finals. Our youngest swimmers had an absolute blast at the SCST 8 & Under Classic, diving into a sweet Candyland-themed meet! They raced through 25s in every stroke and had a fantastic time competing in relays with their teammates. A few important reminders now that the cold weather is here to stay. Entry & Exit It is very important that all swimmers and parents are ONLY entering and exiting the building using Door #29. This door is scheduled to open and close for our access only. NO ONE should use Door #41 at any time. This is especially important as basketball season is currently getting underway and that door is used for practices and games. This keeps our swimmers away from all the high school athletes in the hallway...

WELCOME SHORTER DAYS AND COLDER MONTHS WITH OUR POLAR BEAR CLUB! The Polar Bear Club is set up to help motivate swimmers to stay in the water through the winter months. All swimmers have the same goal to meet the minimum practice attendance for their group per month in December and January. Swimmers will be awarded for meeting their goals (see below flyer for group requirements and details). At the end of each month, swimmers will receive a special award. This past weekend our team was split between two meets, with some swimmers competing at FMC and some racing at HSC. Our swimmers showed up, taking advantage of the chance to race fast, push their limits and earn some second swims at finals. It was a great weekend of energy, effort and progress across the program. The LWSA Don Fritz Swim Fest was a weekend focused on digging deep and pushing our limits. With more intense training underway, our swimmers took on new events and the challenge of racing through fatigue.
