Delta Aquatics has a great tradition of having many USA Swimming Officials affiliated with the Team. It is a requirement that all USA Swimming Meets have a sufficient number of USA registered Officials on deck, in fact they say you should have 1 official for every 10 swimmers on the team. Without Officials, the meet cannot be considered a USA Swimming sanctioned meet and then the times would not count. Having Officials affiliated with our team is a huge benefit to our athletes so we can run quality time trials and meets for our swimmers.
Officials are amazing--- they allow us to run swim meets and for our kids to be able to continue progressing in the sport. Delta is thankful that we have dedicated parents that have taken the time to help the team and become USA Swimming officials. Thank all of our Delta officials for the work they do in service to our team and our swimmers!

Delta Officials Reimbursement
Delta Aquatics recognizes that having a well-staffed roster of USA Swimming certified officials (Stroke and Turn, Starters, Referees, and Computer Admin) is vital to the ongoing health and success of our organization. In order to help assure that members are motivated to both become and remain certified officials, and to help ensure that they represent Delta well at swim meets, Delta will reimburse eligible officials the cost for the training clinic, USA Swimming non-athlete membership registration and background check required to become and remain a certified official. It is the policy of Delta Aquatics not to have the actual costs of officiating prevent anyone from joining our ranks, and therefore we have adopted this voluntary reimbursement program for those who wish to participate.
We are able to fund this due to the fundraising efforts of the team by hosting 3-4 multi-team meets each year. Delta hosts high quality meets and provides many opportunities for our athletes to swim for times that do not require traveling outside of Oswego.
