Delta Aquatics swims Breaststroke for Breast Cancer
Delta Aquatics supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we invite you to join us as we race Breaststroke for Breast Cancer! On Saturday November 1, we hope to bring our Delta family together for a special session of only Breaststroke events to raise money for the fight against Breast Cancer! We want to SUPPORT the fighters, ADMIRE the survivors, HONOR the taken.
Every three minutes someone - a mother, a sister, a friend - is diagnosed with breast cancer. Join us in celebrating the survivors, remembering one of our coaches and fighting for a cure. This swim event has been put together with all of the proceeds raised to be donated to either a person/family in need currently fighting or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in memory of one of our coaches, Lily Landeros. Coach Lily passed away in October 2011 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. The fun-filled evening will include the meet, hot heats & heat winners, dedications, music and will be a great time to socialize with family, friends and teammates.
