Qualification time standards are set by the various governing bodies that come under the umbrella of USA Swimming. Championship meets require swimmers meet or exceed these standards. Regionals, Senior and Age Group State time standards are updated annually at the ISI meeting and are usually posted in October of each year.

Illinois Swimming 2020 Winter Senior Championships (Regional & State)

These are used to qualify for Illinois Regional and State Championship Meets. 

Athletes may qualify with either Long Course(50M) or Short Course(25Y) times that meet the standard and were performed within the championship meet qualifying time period.

National Motivational Time Standards (2017-2020)

These are National age group time standards designed to encourage swimmers to set goals and step their swimming up to the next level.

Certain meets will also require athletes to have met some of these times to enter.

These are the qualifying times used for USA Swimming's National level meets.
