Star Card Program
We are continuing our STAR Card program. The Delta Coaches will be issuing STAR Cards to all swimmers who swim a Best Time at any meet attended by the team. These Cards are used as a raffle ticket, to be redeemed at the end of the season banquet, for prizes donated by parents and businesses. Cards will be issued for best times at meets until the end of the short course season.
These cards will be put into the swimmers mailbox, just like ribbons from meets. It is the swimmers responsibility to hold onto these cards until the banquet. Cards will not be reissued if they are lost or misplaced.
It is our goal to have parents and businesses donate gifts to be raffled off at the banquet. Even if you wanted to donate money, it will be used to purchase a gift. Some gift ideas could be:

The "cooler" the raffle prizes are the more this program will work. The plan is to let the swimmers decide what prizes they want, each prize will have a box in front of it where the swimmers will place their raffle tickets. In reality, if a swimmer really wanted a certain prize, they could place all of their tickets in one box. This will help to make sure that the swimmers have a chance get a prize that they really want. If you would like to donate items for the incentive program please contact Coach Jessica Bogie.
