Assistant Coach Aaron Natonski
Coach Aaron began coaching with Delta in 2008. Aaron graduated from North Central College in Naperville with a B.A. in History and a minor in education. After teaching high school and coaching girls swimming at Neuqua Valley, Aaron went to work for Blooming Color/Minuteman Press, a commercial printing company in St. Charles, where he currently works today.
Aaron started swimming before he could walk and hasn’t stopped since. He swam, played waterpolo and soccer at Neuqua Valley for high school where he was a team captain and varsity letter athlete. While completing his undergraduate degree in history at North Central College he also swam for one year competing in his favorite event, the 100 breaststroke. Although his collegiate career ended after one season Aaron continued to test himself by completing such endurance events such as the Benton Harbor Half Ironman and the Chicago Marathon, which he is currently preparing to run again in 2010.
Aaron started coaching when he was fifteen for the Naperville Park District’s Ashbury Alligators. In 2001, he earned a job at the Naperville Riptides where he coached the 9/10 age group and assisted at every other level within the team. During his tenure with the team he was leading member of the staff that won five consecutive age group state titles. In addition to his Napv responsibilities he also was the head coach for the Brookdale Buccaneers and the White Eagle Warriors, earning distinctions within the Naperville Park District conference. For the 2005 and 2006 high school seasons he coached the Neuqua Valley girls junior varsity squad where his team set meet records, had numerous event winners, and was undefeated at conference. Coach Aaron also holds a Level 3 certification with the American Swimming Coaches Association which places him in the top 15% of all coaches in the US
