What is Delta Aquatics?
Delta Aquatics was founded in 2004 by Oswego School District 308 and Oswego East High School. Its purpose was to provide comprehensive aquatics programming to the Oswegoland and surrounding communities. The cornerstones of our programming are the Learn to Swim Program, Diving Academy, and the Competitive Swim Team. All of these programs are focused on giving its participants the skills necessary for a lifelong enjoyment of aquatics activities. Each program is endorsed by the highest accredited organization in its field. By workng with the most reputable national organizations we guarantee that each program will offer only the highest quality activities.
Learn to Swim School
Since 2006 over 3,000 swimmers have participated in our Learn to Swim program at the Oswego East Pool. We proudly utilize the SwimAmerica curriculum which is the finest learn to swim program available. Created by the American Swim Coaches Association, these lessons are the only lessons which focus not only on the child learning to swim but learning to swim correctly. Proper technique can ensure that a swimmer can swim longer distances or for longer periods of time.
In addition to our ASCA certified site-supervisor, each instructor has also completed a SwimAmerica training course and participated in over 12 hours of instructional training. This guarantees a continuity in teaching methodology and expectations guaranteeing your child a consistent learning experience throughout the various levels. In addition to the many hours of training, many of our instructors are competitive swimmers themselves. Swimmers in our Learn to Swim Program are not only being taught the best curriculum in the nation but they are also being taught by some of the best swimmers in the nation. The personal and technical knowledge that our instructors give to our swimmers only enhances the swimmers experience.
Since our Learn to Swim Program focuses on quality and technique, swimmers who complete our 7th level have learned all the necessary skills and techniques to be successful on our competitive swim team.

Delta Aquatics Diving Academy
The Delta Aquatics Diving Academy was created in 2007 under the Direction of Bob Provost the Head Diving Coach at Oswego East. Our Diving Academy offers programming to meet the needs of divers of every ability. Beginning divers will learn the basics of balance, control, and spatial awareness as they learn the five diving categories. The more advanced divers will continue to work on their balance and control as they add more difficult dives to their diving lists. Finally, our most skilled divers will work on the advanced skills that are necessary for competitive diving. Practices for the Diving Academy vary throughout the year.
